Kalamazoo Nonviolent Opponents of War (KNOW)
Saturday, February 2, 2013, 10-3 p.m., Sambodh Center for Human Excellence
6363 N. 24th Street, Kalamazoo, Michigan 49004
Come for one or more of the following reasons and some of your own!
1. You’ve attended at least one KNOW event (more likely several) and want to see KNOW continue as a vital peace and justice organization in Kalamazoo.
2. You have reactions and thoughts that would help KNOW Planning Committee determine this year’s program, activities and direction.
3. You have (some) time and energy and would like to know how you can contribute to KNOW.
4. You know some KNOW members and would like to spend a few hours in their company, sharing food and conversation, in the serene setting of the Sambodh Center.
Sambodh Center is set in four acres of woods with trails, which you can walk before and after the retreat, if you have time. Please come a few minutes early so we can start at 10 p.m. At noon, we’ll break for a potluck lunch: please bring something vegetarian that will complement hot, hearty soups (vegetarian and vegan). (Sambodh requires that ONLY VEGETARIAN food is served in the building and premises). For a map, go to www.sambodh.us.
