It is very exciting to bring a movie with a message to the big screen. Join us Wednesday, 12/09/15 at 7:30 pm to see this heart warming film about the Palestinian village Bait Sahour. In 1987, this community bought 18 cows as a way to resist Israeli occupation. They produced their own milk. This threatened the occupation and the IDF sought to capture the cows, pursuing them as if they were terrorists! A very entertaining & touching story of the people in their pursuit for self-determination. Tickets can NOT be purchased at the Kalamazoo 10 box office. There are only a few left online: https://gathr.us/screening/13637 OR, contact KNOW for tickets, we have a few extra tickets we have already purchased, and can meet you in the lobby at 7:00 pm if you let us know. Cost is $11 per ticket. (newsfromknow@gmail.com) ------------------------------------------------------------ ** This Friday - Kalamazoo Rally & March for Climate Action Friday, 12/4/15 6 pm. Some of my goals for this trip include: providing drawing lessons to children and adults, painting and drawing the people, plants and animals at the Palestine Museum of Natural History and letting other scenes in the West Bank inspire me to create visual stories to share with you and others.
