Volunteer Roles
Table leads: responsible for attending to the assigned table, answering questions, providing resources to attendees, etc.
Game/activity coordinators: responsible for coordinating any scheduled game or activity at the event.
Setup Crew: responsible for setting up the event or action prior to the start time.
Cleanup Crew: responsible for tearing down the event or action and cleaning up the area following the end time.
Logistics: responsible for coordinating itineraries, permits, volunteer needs, etc.
Security/marshall: responsible for facilitating movement of people within the event/action, acting as a barrier between protesters and any potential threats, de-escalating hostile situations, etc.
Promotion/outreach: responsible for flyer distribution, outreach to potential sponsors, recruitment of volunteers & attendees, etc.
Materials/resources: responsible for securing any materials or resources needed for the event or action.
