April 8th - don’t miss the concert

March 3rd, 2010

This is a special invitation for you to attend our upcoming benefit concert with Charlie King and Karen Brandow. Charlie and Karen are nationally known, legendary folk artists who sing passionately about the extraordinary lives of ordinary people. If you have seen them before, you know you are in for a wonderful evening.

This is our major fund-raiser for the year. Our work in promoting peace and justice though speakers, films, bus trips to protests, web site, vigils, letters, and signs, is all done with volunteers, but we need funds as well.

We are being hosted by the WMU Peace Center, and a portion of the proceeds will also benefit Ministry with Community, a local organization which offers meals, services, dignity, and hope to people in need in our community.

Date: Thursday, April 8th, 7:00 pm
Place: Bernhard Center West Ballroom at WMU
Tickets: $15, $5 for students

Please come and show your support.
Email daniel_b_smith@yahoo.com if you can take some tickets to sell.

We need your help to stop the insanity of endless war, and to make the needs of our people a priority.
